Education Support

Education Support for Poor Children is a transformative initiative focused on bridging the gap in educational opportunities for children from underprivileged communities. By providing financial assistance, scholarships, educational resources, and mentorship, this program aims to empower children who would otherwise lack access to quality education.The program helps reduce the barriers that many children face, such as the inability to afford school fees, uniforms, books, and other essential learning materials. It ensures that every child, regardless of their economic background, has the opportunity to attend school, receive an education, and unlock their full potential.

STOP TB - CC TATA II

From 2022 Blossom Trust has been implementing its CCTATA project supported by STOP TB Partnership. Built on the success of CC-TATA I, our CC-TATA II project aims at eradicating TB, bridging the gap between community responses and national policy. It focuses on enhancing access and adherence to quality treatment while combating discrimination and providing support to TB-affected communities.

IDEAL for Women & Children

Blossom, together with an India-based company, is working to create two Model Villages in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, that will become hallmarks for women and children’s empowerment. This objective will be achieved by providing women and children with the tools, skills and knowledge to bring about positive change in their personal lives as well as in their communities.

EduClowns

The EduClowns are non-professional actors, coming directly from our communities, selected from within our network of self-help groups affected by TB and HIV/AIDS. Their past efforts include campaigns for child health, sexual education such as promoting the use of condoms, and raising awareness of TB. Their displays are thought a provoking, yet entertaining way to stimulate discussion, promote better understanding and initiate action.

TG ACT Network

To expand on our existing health-oriented transgender (TG) Targeted Intervention project, Blossom Trust has established an inclusive capacity-building network of TG women communities across Chennai. The ACT-NETWORK initiative has been created with the goal of addressing the social stigmatisation, economic impact and legislative marginalisation of TG women, thereby cultivating long-term resilient communities and promoting liberty with dignity and equal rights as citizens.
